What's New !The Institutes Offer CE Credits in California MALVERN, Pa .— The Associate in Claims (AIC) designation from the American Institute for CPCU/Insurance Institute of America (the Institutes) is now approved for continuing education (CE) credits for insurance adjusters in California. The AIC designation is a widely recognized credential for claims practitioners, which consists of four courses. All four AIC courses have been granted CE credit for adjusters in California; the first course carries 19 credits, while the remaining three courses carry 24 credits, each. The Institutes also provide free CE credit reporting. In addition to the four AIC courses, the Institutes have also filed the three courses in their Program in General Insurance (INS) and the 11 courses in their Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®) designation program. Courses in both of these popular programs can also be used as electives to earn the AIC designation, allowing the learner to more closely match the coursework with his or her professional needs. Approval of the INS and CPCU courses is pending California state approval. The grid below shows all Institute programs filed for adjuster CE by state. A listing of CE credits for adjusters, by state, can also be downloaded from the Institutes’ Web site at CPCU . For information on AIC elective options, requirements for free CE credit reporting, or other CE matters, visit the Institutes’ Web site, call them at (800) 644-2101 or e-mail Customer Service at customerservice@cpcuiia.org.Note to Editors: The American Institute for CPCU and Insurance Institute of America are not-for-profit organizations offering knowledge solutions and professional development services to the risk management and property-casualty insurance community. you simply list the courses you've taken along with
basic

to
RPA. We realize how busy our members are and trust that this choice of
easy new
procedures will better enable each member to submit their CEs more
easily and on a timely basis. You spoke, we listened!
